While installing Squirrel mail and encounter the error
“Error opening ../data/default_pref”
then go to /config/config.php to alter the below lines
$data_dir = ‘/var/local/squirrelmail/data/’;
to
$data_dir = ‘C:\wamp\www\squirrel\data’; (which happens to be my wamp path for squirrel)
